Western Bandits is a perfect example of “Golden Age” comics and the Wild West. Based on “True” stories and legends from the West, this comic has it all. This book shows why comics were so popular in the 50’s.
After reading a variety of different comics for this era, I am impressed with how many distinctive genres there were during this time. America had everything from goofy comedy to hard-core horror at their fingertips. It was an amazing time for the comic industry.
